Hilarious movie and icecream with my favourite twins last night!
Last-minute babysitting my two favourite kids in, like, ten minutes!
Working tonight!
Party at Jess's house tomorrow!

I can't believe that everything worked out this weekend and I get to do all of the things that I wanted to. Well, maybe except working. But hey, I'm getting paid.

Other responsibilities include Psych homework and cleaning the house. Not happening. Don't really care.

Yay!

Somebody tell me about SAT Subject Tests!

Do I need to take them? Have you? I'm screwed. I've only taken the SAT's once and have only one more day in which I can take either two Subject Tests or SAT Reasoning.

So as it is, I'll miss part of Camp Jewell.

Should I miss it for the Subject Tests or the SAT Reasoning again?

AS OF TODAY, I CHARGE GAS MONEY.
(I'm sorry if this is bitchy of me or an inconvenience.)

Okay, so.. Children have redeemed themselves. I've got Mr. Schermer's grandson in my class and I have to say that he is fucking adorable. He takes each thing with such a quiet and calm demeanor that I just want to hug and smother his cute little FACE. What other boy would sit through five days of a class in which the 8 other students are girls? And not mind? And there's a girl who needs to be my new little sister. Right. Now. She's wonderful.

But there is also this little girl who needs to be shot in the nose fiftybillion times.

Overall, I am having a much better time of things. Even though I haven't had any semblance of a social life in almost two weeks.

KAYBYE.

I am home! But just for the evening.

We were at Newport wednesday night but found that we had to make it back here before this Tropical Storm did. So now me Da's vacation is Ruined. But no matter, we will take the whole weekend to get the car from Massachusetts and hopefully he'll have a good time. Hopefully.

I will see you all Sunday.. or, you know, after that. But I'll be around by mid afternoon if you'd like to call.

Okay, so.. Happy Birthday To Me.

I'm very disappointed that I'm leaving today. On my birthday, to be seasick! Now that I've said so, I'm done. It won't be long before I shake these last vestiges of selfishness and realize that my Father, the one who gave me the most thoughtful gifts of all, will have only two weeks on his boat this summer. His new drug has brought about promotion, long business trips, an extra helping of Workload and significantly less Free Radical time this summer. (In the event that you didn't know, our boat is named Free Radical. Me da is the biggest Scientist ever.) This is his week and I won't spoil it for him, I promise.

Yesterday was a Good Day, albeit more rushed than it should have rightly been. LaurenMuffin gave me the most wonderful card and charm bracelet EVAR. 'Tis beautiful and thoughtful and I figured out how to make it fit! And almond joys, which didn't last long. Trust me. Mairin gave me a ring; I love rings! And Sean gave me a tiara, because I am a sexy princess. I love them. I only got to spend about an hour with The Brunts, my favouritest extended family ever. I was sad to leave, and no one was Drunken by the time I did but I promised Carolyn that I'd pick her up at 3:30 .. I got terribly lost and picked her up at 3:45 instead. (And Branford is skeevy!)

She couldn't make it, which I'm very sad about. But Carolyn's presence made my family's picnic significantly less boring. Actually, the entire evening turned into a gigantic game of frisbee with Kaylee and Jeremy and Gill and Danny and MattS and lots of people that I Kind Of Know. And then s'mores. And then Chels(ea) in time for fireworks. Jeremy an I spent the entire fireworks display "Wishes! Imagination! Friendship! Togetherness!"

.. Yeah.

I drove Carolyn, Chels(ea) and Gill home in the wrong lane out of the surfclub with the windows down and doublethink as high as it would go. I feel it was our duty as teenagers. And I'm never quite so obnoxious so I indulged. We found ourselves in the left lane alongside Mr. Dumbrowski in the right, who gestured that we should Turn It Up! But it wouldn't go any higher. We Raced him out of the surf club (never going up 0 mph, according to my speedometer) and won.

Oh, and the best news of all: I'm getting a cell phone! I'm terribly excited. Now I'll almost be sub par to the slutty twelve year olds with their own cell phones and cars and .. syphilis. Considering my mother, though, I'll have to buy the actual cell phone.. She'll just add me to her plan. But still! Cell phone! She also bought me the gourgeous ring from the ArtsCenter that I wanted. I have a feeling that Julienne and Sylvie had a lot to do with that, but I kind of don't care. Actually, it's better, because it's like a gift from them that my Mother paid for.

Da got me photo paper, a stainless steel reel and tank for developing negatives and a tripod, declaring "You're a real photographer now!" I am so excited, because that was so thoughtful of him.. But at the same time I wish he hadn't gotten me anything. I can't believe he spent so much on me. Though I know perfectly well that he did it because Photography is the thing that we share.

So yes. And now I'm waiting for Chels(ea) to come over because she said she would visit me on my birthday before I go, and that my present was something that she wasn't able to bring to the beach last night. I asked her if it was going to be a pony and she said Yes. I'm so excited, because I've wanted one since I was, like, four! I will name him Snuffulus. (Say it out loud.) In honor of Madison.

Goodbye, Goodbye, I kind of wish I had a cell phone right now
So I could talk to you all while I'm away.
But I don't! So I'll talk to you all when I return.

I hate children. If I ever get pregnant I will stab my uterus over and over again with a rusty spork until it, and most likely I, are allgone.

After work I stopped into the ArtsCenter. I had thought that Sylvie was working; I was looking forward to seeing the mother I should have had and receiving a nice, matronly, warm hug.. but to my dismay it was Kathleen. Oh god, you have to meet this woman. I can't even begin to describe her. You wouldn't think that people like her actually existed, but they do. In a very bad way.

After that, Mother took me shopping for like, an hour. Which was nice of her.

I found the two sexiest bras ever. If you see either of them, let it be known.. 'tis (well.. 'tare) mine! Mother wouldn't let me buy them, because they are The Sorts of Things That You'd Need Help Taking Off. I said they were too comfortable and that I would keep them on for sex, which did not make her any more willing to purchase them for me. Or allow me to purchase them myself. Generally when this sort of thing happens, I get Da to buy whatever it is for me. I am trying to figure out how to namedrop that I am a 32B and that I want the one with the brown and the turquoise. I don't know how my father will take this news. I'll try at dinner.

And if that doesn't work I'll drive up there and buy them myself!
It's kind of wierd how two entries in a row have been almost exclusively about my boobs.

I hope you enjoyed it!

I am back and lots of things like that. I feel sadly that I did not say goodbye to the CCY kids. Bitches. I forgot that they were, like.. leaving.

Graduation was graduation. Speeches and speeches and names and our very own Mrs. Britton spitting into the microphone about the Class of Two-Hundred-And-Five.. I Mean TwoThousandFive. Bitch. I did like Brie's last attempt at a moment of hilarity, though, that consisted of tripping all over herself on her way across the stage before she Grows Up and leaves us.

Freshmen fucked things up as far as performing goes, of course. Was to be expected, correct? By the third time I turned around and yelled past Julianne for them to ShutTheFuckUp! Momentary pause. Is She Talking To Us? Seven measures respite.

Afterwards called for a rousing game of SBXDX. (Joey won. Score at present: 5:6:0) I dallied. I did not want to go back to my car, as I had parked behind the Post Office. I generally always park there to go to visit Lauren and/or Mairin, the Library, or any number of places on that side of the street. But there are these two skeevy guys who work at Cafe Allegre. They are always on break, somehow. I had worn my promdress, which you all know was cotton, casual, $24 and, if I do say, rather accentuates my.. Better Parts. Both were on break when I arrived. They generally make me only mildly uncomfortable; Cue whistle, chin jerk, shake ass, walk, rinse, repeat. But I was nervous to go back when graduation was all done. They are so skeevy! I told BrianFinelli about it, simply because my Better Parts were fighting their way out of my dress and into the conversation. He immediately offered me a ride to my car (which sounds absurd but really isn't, because my car was rather far away if you think about it). Joey came over and reassured me that it was no problem.. it was, after all, Joey's car that would be driving me and my Better Parts. We piled in - me, Lauren and Joey in the front with BrianFinelli, Danielle and BrianHarding in the back.

I may take this moment to interject that I have no problem whatsoever with either BrianDanielle or JoeyLauren. I think they are splendid.

Upon reaching my car, I pointed out the skeevy Cafe Allegre guys (who were, ironically, on break at the time) and invited everyone over to my car for cheezits.

I am quite serious.

Yes, so the Honors Breakfast is two hours of Me Getting Dumber. Funny little awards of a rather dubious nature, always. I got the art award. Again. Again! Wind loves me for sure. Ohboy, who caught the speech where Briton called everyone dumb? I almost missed it because I was intently concentrating on.. everything else. Anything else. The crooked ponytail in front of me was commanding all of my immediate attention. It was intense.

Today I picked up A.L. Kennedy's new book.

Hate me.

Insofar I am having a very good day.
As good a day as one can have without exceptional company.

Postscript, I FUCKING NEED MY EVERYTHING YOU NEED BACK, WHOEVER HAS IT! (Catitlin?)

I have been nursing my sick guineapig back to health for the past week.
Actually he's my sister's, but she doesn't do shit for him.
And just today he started eating again! He had scurvy, I think.
Because, you know, she doesn't feed him.

Then he pissed on me.

In other news, termpaper isn't going anywhere.

And I am feeling better!

I stayed home today. To finish (er.. get started on) my TermPaper.
But instead I'm sitting here doing nothing. Except eating Cheezits.

Mmm. Cheezits.
